I find it strange how people love putting numbers on everything. “Oh we’ve been together 5 years…” “And it’s the 10th anniversary of our first date”. Now I’m no mean party pooper but I know that you can’t put a number on life. It’s too unpredictable. If someone asks me how long I’ve been with the man in the awesomepants, I usually give a different answer each time. It’s not like I don’t know the year. I’ve just never found the reason to count.
Same reason I forget how old I am as the year turns and the same why I think you’re 23 when you’re probably 30.
