Something something bright side.

There’s a reason why I haven’t posted anything new (which in my case means food) since Thursday, is it? That’s okay. I’ve never understood the functioning of a blog and watching some of my favourites teaches me that I’m nothing if not myself. So if I haven’t mapped this thing out yet, that’s fine. I’m doing this as a treat to myself; to keep loving this creativity I’ve been bestowed and to always be amazed.

Did you know that digital photography is not my thing? It isn’t. I’m shocked I can even manage to shoot pictures of food but I do it anyway and feel like chump a lot of the times. You should know this because if ever you compliment the photographs and I forget to thank you it’s because the chumpiness is very overwhelming. If I don’t forget, it means I’ve momentarily forgotten what a chump I am. It all comes down to the truth. I’m a Nokia 3310 in a world of smartphones.

Speaking of digital photography, I tried this past Saturday.

Who knows what the future will bring.

(All photos taken in Fremont, Seattle. Oh and one in Wallingford.)

    The cat looks grumpy.
Nice tattoos on the boa holder

The cat’s whole body was shaved except for around his face, the tip of his tail and around his paws. He must’ve hated his owners for that and I was taking a picture. Hence, the face.

Heh, try it more often, I say.
I know way too many half-talented twits who do, and get off thinking theyre numero uno.
This stuffs nice. I say more power to you.

I meant to say I prefer snapping pictures on film more. It puts a lot less pressure on me to get the “perfect” shot and I’m thinking a lot more about what I want to shoot instead of just being trigger happy. Digital is not dramatic enough for me.

I loooove the business cards you designed for Jane and Sidney… so awesome! ๐Ÿ™‚ And the last picture here is my favourite. The dogs, too. I like you! *rhyming*

I just did the logo for that. She designed the cards herself though I can show you these cards I did come up with in secret. Thank you, Roanna! You’re so nice.

Please show me the ones you come with, in secret! Think of a flip-book for kids and more cool things. I’d buy them! The logo was the major part (and I really like the name + artwork), so I’ve asked Jane to save me a card. ๐Ÿ™‚

Send me your phone number in a facebook private message and I’ll add you on the whatsappery crappery. Makes picture sharing a lot less painful.

I have a Diana F+ and husbandface got me the instant back attachment which uses instax mini film. So I do sort of have a Polaroid. Just not exclusively.
